These artworks are enlargements of the back
covers of three novels and of a design from inside
one of the novels
They move focus and energy around in a corkscrew
spiral toward a center, and as such qualify to be
mandalas.
Each artwork is a complex reflection on how the
self is pulled along a path by the machinations of
the deity through various guises. The
multidimensional space is depicted as a blending or
enfolding of frames or snapshot spaces.
These artworks were generated on a computer
using various algorithms for shape and phased color
synthesis. Then rendered into postscript enabling
them to be printed at any page size and printer
resolution.
The titles reference the large gestalts to which
the artwork speaks.
